Warranty Guidelines

  • Remanufactured & Compatible Products:
    • 90 Days from date of shipment
  • Genuine Original OEM Brands:
    • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
    • Each item clearly shows the Warranty period, if any.
    • OEM Cartridges Name brand cartridges (ie.- Apple, Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark) are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties. If you have a defective item, please contact the manufacturer to verify the manufacturers' warranty.
    • We do not accept returns of open OEM cartridges.
  • Clearance or Discontinued Items:
    • Each individual item clearly shows the Warranty period, if any.
    • Pricing is discounted and based on those individual Warranties.
  • Special Order Items:
    • Special order items must be pre-paid, no exceptions.
    • Special order items CANNOT be returned for any reason, no exceptions.

Returns Under Warranty

  • Do not use the "Core Return Label"! The Core Return Label is not an authorization to return anything other than a used core & does not have an RMA number. Any item received with a Core Return Label is handled as a core return only!
  • For purchases of remanufactured or compatible products within 90 days of ship date only, we will generally send a replacement unit  (except for damage claims which need to be made within 3 business days), including ground freight at our expense to the 48 US States. The replacement unit, including freight & handling, will be charged at time of shipment, pending the proper return of the item proving to be defective as clearly described on the RMA form, at which point, a credit would be issued for both product and freight. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Form will accompany the replacement or be sent via email (your choice). Please return the items, properly re-packaged, using a carrier of your choice and expense (it is always best to use a carrier that provides some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation). We will always ask for the Lot Number off the item for product verification and reason for the return for warranty purposes.
    • The defective unit must be properly re-packaged and returned within 20 days of the RMA date
    • As part of the warranty, please include a sample of the defect from your printer (if it's a print issue)
    • Please initial and include the pre-filled in RMA form (enclosed with replacement order or emailed)
    Failure complete these 3 simple steps, may result in unnecessary delays since they are all part of the warranty process.
  • For purchases of remanufactured or compatible products after 90 days of ship date, the defective unit must be returned before we send a replacement cartridge. Freight charges would apply to all replacements, just like placing a new order.
  • Should the defective cartridge not be returned within 30 days of the RMA date or not properly re-packaged and sustain damage in transit due to negligent packaging, the RMA will become void. The $10.00 processing/handling fee will also become non-refundable since the terms of the RMA were not followed.
  • NewproNet reserves the right to reimburse/and or charge based on a prorated basis according to usage.
  • Refunds, Merchandise Credits and Replacements for returns under warranty vary:
    • Within 30 days: Customer has the option of a refund (less freight), merchandise credit (less freight) or a replacement cartridge.
    • Within 90 days: Customer has the option of a merchandise credit (less freight) or a replacement cartridge.
    • After 90 days: NewproNet may offer a replacement cartridge at its sole discretion, in that event, customer must accept the same replacement cartridge, freight charges both ways are at the customers expense.
  • Genuine OEM Branded products are handled under a different return program and the warranty varies from brand to brand. Most, but not all, will require the product to be returned to the original manufacturer for warranty claims. Please contact us for specifics.

Returns NOT Under Warranty

  • Do not use the "Core Return Label"! The Core Return Label is not an authorization to return anything other than a used core & does not have an R/A number. Any item received with a Core Return Label is handled as a core return only!
  • Any products being returned for any reason, will be at the customers expense.
  • Products must be received in original condition and in factory sealed packaging. Reasonable exceptions may apply if they have been previously disclosed by the customer.
  • Customer will assume the responsibility of returning the product(s) and include all of the following:
    • A copy of the original customer receipt
    • A properly filled out R/A form (faxed or emailed to customer)
    • Products need to be returned in their original factory sealed boxes to avoid a higher re-stocking fee.
  • Returns are at the customer's expense - customer has the choice of shipping method, however, a signature proof of delivery and insurance are strongly recommended.
  • Customer shall pay all freight costs incurred by NewproNet on the original shipment and/or subsequent shipments, including, but not limited to, local courier fee, common carrier and/or any other air upgrades.
  • In the event of a price change, we will use the lower of the two prices.
  • Refunds and Merchandise Credits for returns not under warranty vary:
    • Within 30 days: Customer has the option of:
      • If for a credit card refund, less a 30% restocking fee & freight or
      • If for a merchandise credit, less a 20% re-stocking fee & freight
      • If initial payment was by cash, check or e-check, we will issue a merchandise credit, less a 20% re-stocking fee & freight.
    • Within 90 days: Customer will be issued a merchandise credit, less a 30% re-stocking fee & freight.
    • After 90 days: NewproNet may, under unique circumstances and at its sole discretion, offer a merchandise credit, less a 40% or more re-stocking fee & freight.
  • If returning Genuine (OEM) products, We do not accept returns of open OEM cartridges.
